When she came knocking;
He was still sleepy
When he stood up to open the door.

She reached out to him,
She kissed him on the lips;
She wasted not a second more.
the watchFane glanced at the watch – 5:30 PM. It was still early, a few more hours, she held on to him tighter.

Fane glanced at the watch – 6:00 PM. The sky is darker, an hour left, she cherished their time together.

Fane glanced at the watch, he looked too now – 6:30 PM. A little later…

Fane glanced at the watch – 7:00 PM. Over now, tomorrow will be better.
the doorSomeone knocked on the door; a shock, I expected no one.

I asked who was behind the door; a voice, I do not know from whose.

I looked at the window beside the door; a face, more than familiar.

I opened the door, and what do I get? A surprise I would not forget.
laughsHe laughed.
He was telling her a joke that he made up all by himself.

And she laughed.
The joke was not in the least funny, but she can't help but giggle – his chuckles were so contagious.

They laughed. Joke after joke, they laughed. And it was amazing how they could spend time just to laugh together, ignoring the pile of work they still had to do. And in those few precious moments, they shared the laughter that bonds them – siblings inseparable
he racedHe raced.

When he was behind the wheel, nothing else mattered except for reaching to end.

He raced on.

Braving every obstacle, his eyes never left the road, his courage never wavered.

He raced on hungrily.

The thrill of the ride, the load roar of his engines, the soft vibrations of the thump, thump, thump from his speakers; all feeding his heart with this insane urge that kept him going.

He raced on hungrily, triumphantly.

Now victorious, he kept his wheels going, the momentum of the ride a part of his every being, a part of his very soul.
